Journeyman Drywall Finisher/Steel Stud Framer
Premier Drywall Services LTD is looking for a person who takes pride in their work. We are searching for an individual who has ambition to grow with the company, works well with others and is a self-starter.
Duties:
Cut and install metal corner beads in order to protect exterior corners. Experience with use of hawk and trowel, fill screws, joints, cracks and nail indentations with joint compound. Sand seams and joints, as well as applying successive coats of compound. Can read drawings, use lasers and has worked with steel. Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience drywalling boarding and finishing. This position is full-time Monday to Friday and occasionally on Saturday.

– Journeyman Drywall Finisher/Steel Stud Framer: Minimum 2 years
– Tickets (schooling)
– Valid driver’s license
Start Date: Immediately
Drywall Labourer
General Duties:
– Ensure tools required for job site are set up, clean up scrap drywall from boarded house, apartment, commercial unit and ready for filling. Clean up and scraping floors at end of project. Cleaning storing and organizing of tools in work vehicles
– Moving of unused drywall to the next job
– Ability to learn about various tools and functions of them, pole sanding and touch up sanding, basic skills of using drywall filling knives. Able to spot nails and fill them.
– This position is full-time Monday to Friday with the occasional Saturdays
– Valid driver’s license.
– Be proactive and Punctual
– Willing to learn new tasks as assigned
Wage: between $15.00 – $20.00 per hour
Start Date: Immediately
